Morning service begins at 11:15am every Sunday. Missy Scott often has a fun group of children who share a morning bible lesson and fun sheets before our service begins. Please come and join us.
Below is a (sorry, blurry) picture of some of the Hepler group who joined us at our 5th Sunday Service in Stark on Aug. 30th we had a great time and Terry is still talking about those puppies.
Hepler has some fun times coming up and I hope to have some pictures of our day at the PSU Wed. free lunch in Sept. Then we will have our Open House night on Oct. 31st. Maybe I can get Kim to take some pictures for me.

OUR BEGINNINGS:
The early meetings that were held at Grandma Heard's house were soon moved to the M.K.T. Depot and the conference was asked to send a minister. The minister came twice a month on Sunday afternoon. The present church was built in 1882. It was dedicated by Chaplain McCabe of Ft. Scott, At the time it was described as a shoe box structure with the pulpit in the East end.
In the 127 years the church has held services many changes to the building have taken place but one constant has remained. The one constant is; the people of the United Methodist church in Hepler will continue to reach out to their community with their gifts, their prayers and their service.
